What a lovely cafe! A serendipitous find on our way home from the hospital trying to avoid the queues on the 189. We had tasty paninis that were served with a fresh well-presented salad. The coffee was good and served in lovely big cups. Very friendly service and my dog was made welcome too. Looking forward to returning to try the scones that looked amazing.

Lovely cafe. Very restful atmosphere and decor. Staff are just delightful. Very professional and nothing is too much trouble. Then there are the cheese scones. Best I have had in the North East. Light, fluffy And very tasty. Coffee delicious. We stayed so long we also had late lunch. Quiche was to die for.

Lovely cafe in Ashington. Visited today after walking the dog in the community wood. Such a nice welcoming place. Lovely staff, food and customers. I had cheese and tomato toastie which came with a dressed salad, homemade slaw and crisps and one of the nicest cappuccinos I've ever had, with chocolate sprinkles. A slice of victoria sponge was boxed up for me to takeaway. Definitely will return when I'm in next in the area
